Step 1. Put your SD card into the card reader and connect it with your PC.
Step 2.Go to the r4i gold 3ds official website www.r4ids.cn to download the latest firmware
Step 3.Download the latest Wood R4 Kernel V1.30 as following
Step 4.You’ll get a wood r4 kernel v1.30 rar file as below,you need WinRAR (or another program like WinRAR) to open the file.
Step 5.Unzip the wood r4 kernel v1.30 rar file,and you’ll get a folder (there are five files as below),extract the files and copy all the files to the root of your SD card.
Step 6.Put some games in the root of your SD card.Unplug the card reader and take out the SD card.And insert your SD card into the R4i gold 3ds flashcard.
Step 7.And put the R4i gold 3DS flashcard into your DS/DSi/3DS.
Step 8.Power on your DS/DSi/3DS and click the SpongeBob icon.
